Since 1991, Family Pet Animal Hospital has voluntarily achieved the high standards of the American Animal Hospital Association, qualifying us as an AAHA Accredited Hospital Member. These standards pertain to facilities, equipment, practice methods, continuing education, and management. We’re proud to be a six-time recipient of the American Animal Hospital Association’s highest honor. To find out more about why AAHA accreditation matters for you and the care of your beloved pet, see our AAHA page.
It’s official! Family Pet Animal Hospital has been designated by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) as a Cat Friendly Practice (CFP)! Our doctors and staff have always been committed to making our practice a feline friendly place, so our participation in the AAFP’s Cat Friendly Practice (CFP) Program was an easy choice.
All of us at Family Pet Animal Hospital are passionate about providing the highest quality and most compassionate medical for your cat. Dr. Rae Ann Van Pelt and Dr. Ken Goldrick are members of the American Association of Feline Practitioners. We also have a support staff committee of official Cat Advocates – Michelle Fernandez, Janet Laz, and Brett Edenton – who are dedicated to cat advocacy in our practice. To learn more information, read the our webpage about what a Cat Friendly Practice means for you and your cat.
